Who Are We?

I started my professional career with a short stent in government contracting. After graduating from the University of New Mexico with a business degree, I entered the world of M&A at a lower-middle-market firm in Albuquerque. After almost four years in sell-side M&A, I headed back to graduate school to pursue a Master of Finance at Auburn University. 

As an investor, I’ve been a disciple of value investing principles, heavily influenced by readings of value investors Benjamin Graham, Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger, Peter Lynch, Howard Marks and many others great financial minds in various disciplines, such as Nassim Taleb and Ray Dalio.  

Contrary to the current, widely accepted financial dogma, I’ve invested heavily in a small number of concentrated positions in which I have high conviction. With this strategy I’ve been able to return ~24% annualized for the last five years (with many ups and downs in between) but am always looking to sharpen the strategy.
